CAPITOL RECORDS

The classic films of the 40's had great scores which means KMD has to have a great classic sounding score as well. Our composer Bill Newlin makes that happen with his gorgeous score. And what studio would be the coolest to record it in? Capitol Records of course. Home of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. It was so exciting to be inside one of the most iconic recording studios in the world to record the string sections of our score. Extremely talented musicians from the Los Angeles area were with us in Studio A for several hours to add their skills to the KMD sound. It is very rare for a film of our size to use union musicians and Capitol was very excited to have us in their studio.
